On and around the farm Middlewick Barton is situated in the heart of rural Devon in beautiful unspoilt countryside. The farmhouse is surrounded by over 200 acres of rolling fields lined with wonderful mature trees - so you really will get away from it all! However there is plenty to do including walking along the public footpaths on our scenic farmland, admiring the views and our herd of organic Devon cattle and spotting all sorts of local wildlife including owls and kites. A pair of bikes are available for use free of charge; if you are feeling energetic enjoy a cycle ride around the locality, breathing in the pure Devon air. Witheridge village is only a 10 minutes cycle ride away where you can purchase a newspaper, groceries, toiletries and fresh bread for breakfast! Or simply visit some of the historic local pubs and restaurants and sample their award-winning fare.
