Directions from the M5: Leave the motorway at junction 27 and take the A361 North Devon Link road towards Barnstaple. After approximately 6 miles you will see a sign to Tiverton on the left. Go past this turning for a further mile until you reach a large roundabout. Take the left exit here which is also signposted Tiverton, bearing right at the next two mini-roundabouts which appear in very quick succession. Follow the road signs for the B3531 to Witheridge and stay on this road for 8 miles until you reach Nomansland village. Go right through the village and you will find Middlewick Barton down the next turning on the right after you have left the village.
Directions by public transport: Mainline trains come in to Tiverton Parkway from London Paddington. You can take a taxi from Tiverton Parkway station to Middlewick Barton or take the No1 bus to Tiverton bus station where you will need to change onto a No 346 bus and alight at the Mount Pleasant pub in Nomansland village. Middlewick Barton can be found a few hundred yards along the road going towards Witheridge Village, on the right.
